Job summary

Delta Care Ltd is seeking Home Care Assistants to provide community-based support in Chorley and surrounding areas. You will assist clients at home with personal care, medications, meals, and everyday tasks to help them live safely and independently.

We offer permanent or temporary roles with full-time and part-time hours, weekend work, mileage pay, a pension and health care scheme, paid online training and in-house induction, and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• No qualifications or previous experience required; paid full training.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily personal care (washing, dressing, meals)
• Support with mobility and activities of daily living
• Build trusting relationships with clients and their families
• Ensure clients’ safety, comfort, and well-being at all times
• Document and report care provided to clients, medication records and care sheets
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Promote independence and dignity for those in your care
• To read and follow the individualized care plan
• To prepare meals, drinks, and snacks, as and when necessary

Our New and IncreasedRates of Pay:

Monday to Friday - £13.45 (40p Performance Bonus Included)
Saturday to Sunday- £13.55 (40p Performance Bonus Included)

Hours of duty:
Mornings 7 AM - 2 PM

Evenings 3 PM - 10 PM (You are required to work every other weekend)

The role:

The role is community-based, providing support and care to individuals in their own homes to enable them to live safely and independently. This will also consist of providing personal care, medication assistance, and meal preparation.
