Delta Care Ltd is recruiting a Home Care Assistant to support clients at home in the Blackburn area. This permanent, part-time role involves personal care, medication assistance and meal prep, with morning and evening shifts. No prior qualifications are required as full paid training is provided.

Office is at 90 Cleaver Street, Blackburn. Mileage is paid and a performance bonus is included for weekdays and weekends. Applicants must be female carers only as per Equality Legislation.

• 1 year of care experience or willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• Read and follow the individualized care plan.
• Assist with washing/bathing and dressing.
• Assist with toileting and changing clothes as necessary.
• Assist with daily living tasks including cleaning, shopping and paying finances.
• Adhere to Delta Care Ltd Health and Safety policies.

Monday to Friday - £13.45 (40p Performance Bonus Included)

Saturday to Sunday- £13.55 (40p Performance Bonus Included)

Mileage pay - 30p (per mile)

No qualifications or previous experience is required as we do offer full paid training.

The Role:

The role is community-based, providing support and care to individuals in their own homes to enable them to live safely and independently. This will also consist of providing personal care, medication assistance, and meal preparation.

Job Description:

• To read and follow the individualized care plan.
• To provide assistance with washing/bathing and dressing.
• To provide assistance with toileting and changing clothes, as and when necessary.
• To provide assistance with daily living tasks, including cleaning, shopping, and paying finances.
• To adhere by Delta Care Ltd Health and Safety policies.

This is not an exhaustive list of duties; there may be other tasks that you are required to do that do not form part of this Job Description.

Hours of duty: Mornings: 7 AM - 2 PM & Evenings: 3 PM - 10 PM

(We kindly ask that you work every other weekend)
