Job summary

Firstpoint Home Care in Darlington, Durham is seeking a Domiciliary Care Assistant to support elderly clients in their own homes. The role focuses on personal care, meal preparation, medication support, and companionship, with morning and evening shifts and a weekend rotation.

You will enjoy flexible hours, mileage paid at £0.29 per mile, a manual license required for a company car, and benefits including weekly pay, DBS and uniform, and opportunities for training and career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in caring for the elderly is advantageous.
• Good level of English required.
• Full UK driving license required for company car where applicable.

About The Role

Position: Domiciliary Care Assistant

Location: Darlington, Durham

Pay Rates: £12.71 per hour

Hours: Morning 07:00-13:00 Evening 16:00-22:00 (30 minute calls)

Mileage: £0.29 per mile - Cars provided IF you hold a manual license.
