Job summary

Firstpoint Home Care is seeking a compassionate Domiciliary Care Assistant to support elderly clients in their own homes in Darlington, Durham. You will assist with personal care, meal prep, medication support and companionship, ensuring dignified, respectful care every day.

We offer flexible hours, weekly pay and mileage reimbursement. A Full UK Driving Licence is preferred. NHS/private care experience is advantageous, and you’ll join a supportive team with ongoing training.

Qualifications

• NHS and private care experience is advantageous.
• Good level of English.
• Full clean UK driving license.

About The Role

Position: Domiciliary Care Assistant

Location: Darlington, Durham

Pay Rates: £12.71 per hour

Hours: Morning 07:00-13:00 Evening 16:00-22:00 (30 minute calls)

Mileage: £0.29 per mile - Cars provided IF you hold a manual license.
