Job summary

Melody Care is seeking Home Carer Assistants to support clients in Hampshire and Surrey, providing compassionate in-home care and building trusted relationships with clients and families.

No prior care experience is required — full training is provided. We offer guaranteed contracted hours, competitive pay linked to the Living Wage Foundation, flexible scheduling, and a supportive working environment to help you thrive.

At Melody Care , we are passionate about helping people remain independent and comfortable in their own homes. We are currently looking for caring and reliable Home Care Assistants to become part of our friendly and supportive team across Hampshire and Surrey.

With local branches in Aldershot, Alton and Camberley, we will place you at the branch most suitable for your location, supporting clients within the surrounding community.

What we offer:

• Guaranteed contracted hours of 10, 16, 25, or 35 hours per week

Mornings: 7:00am – 2:00pm

• Evenings: 4:00pm – 11:00pm
• Ongoing training and support
• A rewarding role where you can genuinely make a difference every day

To be eligible, applicants must be available to work at least one evening each week and some hours alternate weekends.

Please note:

• Applicants must hold a full driving licence and have access to their own vehicle
• We are unable to offer Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) for this role

The Role:

As a Home Care Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting our clients in their own homes across Hampshire and Surrey, providing high-quality care and building strong relationships with clients, their families, and our team. You'll be supported by our experienced care management team to ensure your success and career growth.

Responsibilities:

As a Home Care Assistant, you will be required to help clients in the community with:

• Medication
• Personal Care
• Meal preparation and nutrition
• Shopping
• Arranging and accompanying clients to appointments
• Companionship
