Job summary

Melody Care is seeking Home Care Assistants to support clients across Hampshire and Surrey, staying with the aim of helping people live independently at home. You will be placed at a nearby branch with guaranteed hours and comprehensive training.

We provide ongoing support, competitive pay linked to Living Wage, and flexible scheduling to fit your commitments. Immediate start available, with a focus on compassionate, reliable care.

Qualifications

• No previous care experience required; full training provided.
• Must hold a full driving licence and have access to own vehicle.
• Able to work at least one evening per week and some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist with medication administration and reminders.
• Provide personal care to clients in their own homes.
• Prepare meals and ensure proper nutrition.
• Shop for essentials and run errands as needed.
• Arrange and accompany clients to appointments.
• Offer companionship and social engagement.
• Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a safe home.

Home Care Assistant

At Melody Care, we are passionate about helping people remain independent and comfortable in their own homes. We are currently looking for caring and reliable Home Care Assistants to become part of our friendly and supportive team across Hampshire and Surrey.

With local branches in Aldershot, Alton and Camberley, we will place you at the branch most suitable for your location, supporting clients within the surrounding community.

What we offer:

• Guaranteed contracted hours of 10, 16, 25, or 35 hours per week

• Hours available:-

  • Mornings: 7:00am - 2:00pm

  • Evenings: 4:00pm - 11:00pm

• Ongoing training and support

• A rewarding role where you can genuinely make a difference every day

To be eligible, applicants must be available to work at least one evening each week and some hours alternate weekends.

Please note:

• Applicants must hold a full driving licence and have access to their own vehicle

• We are unable to offer Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) for this role

As a Home Care Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting our clients in their own homes across Hampshire and Surrey, providing high-quality care and building strong relationships with clients, their families, and our team. You'll be supported by our experienced care management team to ensure your success and career growth.

Responsibilities:

As a Home Care Assistant, you will be required to help clients in the community with:

• Meal preparation and nutrition
