Job summary

is seeking a Consultant to join its Environmental Claims Division. The role offers a home-based arrangement with a company vehicle/allowance and benefits.

You will manage projects from survey through to client sign-off, applying strong CDM and HSE knowledge while coordinating with insurers, regulators, and homeowners. Ideally you bring 5+ years in environmental remediation or related sectors, plus a proven ability to lead subcontractors, manage budgets, and deliver comprehensive reports and risk

Qualifications

• 5+ years' project management experience within environmental remediation, contaminated land, construction, civil engineering, geotechnical, utilities, insurance reinstatement, or related sector.
• Experience managing projects from survey and scoping through to completion and client sign-off.
• Experience preparing and managing Construction Phase Plans (CPPs), RAMS, project programmes, and resource and procurement plans.
• Experience managing budgets, project costs and variations; supervising subcontractors and direct labour on live sites.
• Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations and Health & Safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site surveys of domestic properties and collect vapour, soil and groundwater samples.
• Compile and interpret field and analytical data for reports.
• Prepare reports, tables and figures for client reporting.
• Scope remedial works and prepare associated costings.
• Plan and schedule labour, plant and materials for works.
• Supervise staff and subcontractors during investigations/remedial works.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders.
