Job summary

Natural Power is seeking a Renewable Energy Operation Site Manager to lead site management in the Border region, ideally Newcastle area, with home-based duties and site visits. You will oversee safety, inspections, electrical operations and compliance within HV/LV systems and wind assets.

The role supports a multi-disciplinary Operations & Asset Management team and requires coordinating with clients, service providers and stakeholders while operating in a flexible, on-call capacity.

Qualifications

• Experience in site management and HV services.
• Ability to develop SSOW and conduct risk assessments.
• Knowledge of safety rules including WTSR and HV safety rules.
• Willingness to travel; home-based with site visits.
• On-call rota and 24-hour support experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review contractor SSOW and ensure site buddy induction and competence.
• Record and manage accidents, incidents and near hits with follow-up actions.
• Develop and manage site PPM schedules for regulatory compliance and safety.
• Complete routine site inspections and prepare reports and meetings.
• Maintain site documentation (H&S plan, EMS, O&M, drawings).
• Manage permit-to-work system and HV/LV safety rules adherence.
• Liaise with DNOs and licensees on outages and boundaries.
• Participate in on-call rota and provide 24-hour support.
• Support new site or equipment integrations with other functions.
