Luton Bennett is recruiting a Mobile Vehicle Technician to perform PPM and breakdown on forklifts and related materials-handling machinery from a home base in the UK. The role involves visiting customer sites within about an hour of your home, with no extended travel or overnight stays required.

The ideal candidate will have experience with plant, forklifts, HGV or similar equipment, and may be a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic seeking a change of industry.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have worked on cars, plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment.
• Vehicle Technician/Mechanic seeking a change may apply.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and breakdown on materials handling machinery as a field service engineer.
• Complete comprehensive training to become fully competent on all machinery and equipment.
• Spare parts are stocked in the van overnight.
