Job summary

Premier Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service and repair a range of special purpose waste processing machinery. The role is home-based with regional travel across the North Midlands, ideally around Derby, Nottingham, Stoke-on-Trent or Sheffield.

You will diagnose faults, perform PPMs, and carry out mechanical, hydraulic and electrical repairs. A hands-on engineer with welding experience is advantageous and travel will be involved on customer sites.

Qualifications

• Multiskilled engineer with ability to maintain/repair hydraulic and electrical circuits.
• Hands-on background in mechanical/electrical/hydraulic engineering; welding advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites in North Midlands (Derby/Nottingham/Staffordshire/Sheffield).
• Carry out servicing, PPM and fault finding on machinery.
• Repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems; read circuit drawings.
