Job summary

South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a generic rehabilitation assistant to support patients recovering from stroke in the community across north Warwickshire. You will work with a large multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred care, visiting patients at home and assisting therapists in Warwickshire.

The role emphasises patient-centered care, teamwork and effective communication, with an expectation of flexibility, time management and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Some experience of working within a healthcare setting is desirable but more importantly a passion for working with people, excellent communication skills, flexibility, good time management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support therapists as part of the multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality stroke care in the community.
• Provide administrative support to the department.
• Help provide timely, targeted care to patients in their own homes in line with national stroke guidelines.
