Job summary

Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Band 3 Community Healthcare Assistant to visit patients in their own homes and provide clinical care under supervision. DBS check is required, with the Trust covering the DBS cost.

Training will be offered; access to a car with a valid driving license is essential. Successful candidates will undertake our in-house development program for extended skills, including insulin administration and catheterisation, as part of their role

Qualifications

• Experience of clinical work in the community is desirable but training will be offered to the successful applicant.
• There is an in-house development program for extended skills including insulin administration, injections and catheterisation.
• Under supervision you will visit patients in their own homes providing clinical care.
