Job summary

McLarens is seeking a Commercial Adjuster to join our expanding teams, working from home in/around South Wales. You will manage a broad portfolio of commercial claims from investigation to settlement, ensuring compliance with technical and operational policies. Travel across the region will be required.

Successful candidates will hold professional qualifications or be working toward them, with strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills within a global loss-adjusting firm.

Qualifications

• Successful candidates must hold or be working towards professional qualifications in the loss adjusting sector or allied professions.
• Strong negotiation, decision-making and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Investigating, negotiating and agreeing settlement of claims in a professional manner
• Liaising with insured, insurers and brokers to achieve professional and timely conclusion of claims
• Completing on site investigations and damage surveys for claims
• Producing reports in compliance with professional standards and internal guidelines in accordance with agreed timescales
• Actively contribute towards McLarens’ business development programme.
