Job summary

UKAS is seeking an Assessment Manager to lead quality management system assessments, focusing on ISO 9001, within our Corporate team. The role requires strong auditing experience, exceptional stakeholder management, and the ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across the UK.

This home-based role involves extensive UK travel and overnight stays, offering the chance to contribute to the public interest as the UK's sole accreditation body.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of ISO/IEC 17021 and its implementation
• Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
• Hands-on experience and broad sector knowledge in quality management
• Experience in organisation auditing or assessment
• Degree level education is desirable but not essential
• Practical experience in a relevant discipline considered

Responsibilities

• Select assessment teams
• Establish the assessment approach
• Lead the assessment and coordinate the team
• Collate and report each assessment
• Progress each assessment project from start to finish
