Job summary

UKAS is seeking an Assessment Manager in our Corporate team, with a specific focus on Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001). You will bring a strong working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17021, lead assessments and coordinate teams to meet accreditation expectations with objectivity and excellent service.

This is a home-based role requiring extensive travel mainly within the UK, with frequent overnight stays, and a commitment to public interest work as the United Kingdom's sole accreditation body.

Qualifications

• Experience with ISO/IEC 17021 and its implementation.
• Hands-on auditing or assessment experience.
• Strong knowledge of modern quality management systems.
• Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Degree-level education is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Select assessment teams.
• Establish the assessment approach.
• Lead the assessment and coordinate the team.
• Collate and report each assessment.
• Progress each assessment project from start to finish.
