Job summary

Sefton Council is seeking a Technical Officer to assist in delivering Disabled Facilities Grant adaptations for home improvements. The role involves producing schedules of work and drawings in line with Occupational Therapists' recommendations, ensuring client needs are met across a range of schemes.

The successful candidate will work borough-wide, have experience with older people or disabilities, and demonstrate a commitment to high standards and quality service, with DBS clearance required.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering Disabled Facilities Grant adaptations to meet client needs.
• Ability to produce schedules of work and associated drawings in line with Occupational Therapists' recommendations.
• DBS check required and commitment to high-quality service.
• Able to liaise with internal and external bodies to deliver the service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Major adaptations to enable safe access in homes.
• Prepare schedules of work and drawings per OT recommendations.
• Provide a Borough-wide home improvement service with high standards.
