Waythrough is seeking a dedicated Criminal Justice Worker in Bolton to support individuals facing challenges with mental health, substance use, housing or domestic abuse. You will manage caseloads, perform holistic assessments and provide tailored one-to-one support to promote safer, healthier, more independent lives.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or willing to work towards it.
• Knowledge of criminal justice services, orders and interventions.
• Understanding of MI, PSIs, CBT and ITEP.
• Strong communication skills; ability to build professional relationships.
• Ability to work with carers, families and external partners.
• Good IT, organisation and record-keeping skills.
• Compassionate, non-judgemental, person-centred approach.

Responsibilities

• Caseload management with recovery and care plans.
• Complete holistic needs and risk assessments; deliver interventions.
• Provide one-to-one support to reduce substance-related harm and offending.
• Link clients to appropriate treatment, recovery and wider services.
• Collaborate with Police, Liaison & Diversion, Probation, courts, prisons and community partners.
• Maintain accurate, confidential case notes and risk assessments.
