Job summary

Boots is recruiting for a Seasonal Customer Advisor to help customers find gifts and offers during the busy festive period. You’ll assist on the shop floor, help with deliveries, replenish stock and keep the store looking welcoming. This temporary role requires flexibility to work across store areas and Bank Holidays.

You’ll be part of a supportive team and receive industry-standard training, with opportunities for longer-term roles depending on local availability.

Qualifications

• Available to work Bank Holidays including Black Friday week and weekend, Cyber Monday, Christmas Eve, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
• Customer-focused and passionate about helping customers enjoy their shopping experience.
• Team player who supports colleagues to keep the store running smoothly.
• Operations ready with ability to balance customer service, stock, fulfilment and shop floor tasks.
• Proactive and takes ownership to get tasks done.
• Resilient and positive during busy periods.
• Energetic with the stamina for long, active shifts.
• Confident asking for help when needed to get things right.
• Comfortable with technology and using tills, handheld devices and self-checkouts.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and help them find products, gifts, services and offers.
• Provide friendly, personalised service to create memorable experiences.
• Assist customers with purchases at tills or self-checkouts.
• Replenish stock and keep shelves full.
• Support deliveries and organise stock in the stockroom.
• Keep store and shopping areas looking their best.
• Rotate across store areas to support the team as needed.
