Job summary

Dewis Centre for Independent Living in Mountain Ash seeks a Personal Assistant to support a 6-year-old girl during school holidays, in community activities and play centers.

You will assist with personal care, keep her safe, and enable participation, with a monthly wage and mileage paid. A DBS check and NI number are required; references will be checked; reliability and warmth are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with caring for a child with ASD preferred.
• Ability to engage in community activities and groups.
• Willingness to perform personal care tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with changing a pull-up when needed.
• Support child's engagement in activities and outings.
• Keep child safe and ensure readiness for transitions.
