Job summary

Dewis Centre for Independent Living in Wales is seeking a Personal Assistant to help a 39-year-old woman gain independence and access social activities. The role involves accompanying her to events, meals, cinema, walks and bowling, and providing company at home so her mum can go out.

Part-time hours are 8 per week with pay at £15 per hour plus mileage. A trial period, National Insurance number submission and a satisfactory DBS check are required. Holiday pay will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to travel with me to social activities and outings.
• Willing to undergo a DBS (Police) check before employment.

Responsibilities

• Attend concerts, cinema, parties and activities with me.
• Go for a drink or meal.
• Go for a walk and a coffee.
• Support me to attend weekly social get-together at a bowling alley.
• Keep me company at home to enable my mum to go out.
