Job summary

M&S in the United Kingdom is hiring a Customer Assistant for our Food section. You’ll be the frontline teammate, delivering five-star service at pace, helping customers find products, and using Sparks App and in-store devices to assist shoppers.

Shifts run Tue–Sat 15:00–19:00, with potential full-time hours during busy weeks in December. We value reliability, teamwork and a hands-on attitude as we roll out new products and seasonal offers.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and a friendly, proactive approach.
• Excellent communication, able to assist customers clearly and efficiently.
• Able to work as part of a busy team in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with enquiries and locate products across the store.
• Operate tills and process transactions, promoting add-on sales where appropriate.
• Maintain store presentation, stock levels and cleanliness throughout shifts.
