Job summary

The National Trust for Places of Historic Interest or Natural Beauty is seeking aHoliday Cottage Cleaner to prepare our charming cottages in Lansallos and Pont Creek near Polruan. This is a permanent role with annualised hours and a salary paid in 12 equal installments over the year.

Hours are 260 per year, with working days Monday to Saturday (typically Monday, Thursday or Friday). You will perform cleaning duties, report repairs, and ensure every guest finds a pristine and welcoming cottage.

Qualifications

• You should be a team player, but able to work on your own initiative.
• Excellent organisation and adaptability are important for this role.
• Willingness to learn new skills and procedures is essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean cottages to ensure they are pristine, well-presented, and welcoming for the next guests.
• Keep the cottage environment tidy and report any repairs or maintenance needs.
• Replace any broken items from store supplies when required.
• Adhere to PPE and safety measures while carrying out duties.
