Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking an experienced Hoist Operator for a holiday cover on a flagship residential site in Central Reading. You will operate a passenger/goods hoist and conduct pre-start checks to ensure safe transfer of workers and materials across site levels.

Candidates must hold CPCS (A20) or NPORS (N111) with CSCS, have prior hoist experience on commercial or residential sites, and be eligible to work in the UK. Shift is 07:30–16:30 for a 1-day assignment next week Tuesday.

Qualifications

• CPCS (A20) or NPORS (N111) with CSCS approved card and recent site experience.
• Hoist operator with residential/commercial site exposure.
• Willingness to cover holiday/short-notice shifts.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced CPCS or NPORS Hoist Operator for holiday cover next week at a flagship residential site in Central Reading

Key Duties:

• Operating passenger/goods hoist safely to transfer workforce and materials across site levels.


• Performing daily pre-start hoist checks.


• Managing loading gate safety and load weight limits.

Requirements:

• CPCS (Category A20) OR NPORS (N111) with CSCS logo.


• Previous hoist operation on commercial or residential construction sites.


• Full site PPE required (Hard hat, high-vis, safety boots, gloves, glasses).


• Valid UK Right to Work documentation.


• Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
