Job summary

Randstad Construction Property Engineering is seeking an experienced CPCS or NPORS Hoist Operator for a one-day cover at a flagship residential site in Central Reading. You will operate a passenger/goods hoist to transfer workforce and materials across site levels, and perform daily pre-start checks.

Requirements include CPCS (Category A20) or NPORS (N111) with CSCS, prior hoist operation on commercial or residential sites, full site PPE, and valid UK Right to Work documentation.

• Job Title: URGENT: Hoist Operator / Driver - 1 Day Cover
• Location: Central Reading -RG1
• Date Required: Next week Tuesday
• Shift Hours: 07:30 - 16:30
• Pay Rate: £18.00/hr

About the Role:

Key Duties:

• Operating passenger/goods hoist safely to transfer workforce and materials across site levels.
• Performing daily pre-start hoist checks.
• Managing loading gate safety and load weight limits.

Requirements:

• CPCS (Category A20) OR NPORS (N111) with CSCS logo.
• Previous hoist operation on commercial or residential construction sites.
• Full site PPE required (Hard hat, high-vis, safety boots, gloves, glasses).
• Valid UK Right to Work documentation.
