Job summary

ITS Building people are looking for an experienced Hod Carrier to assist our client on a project based in South Chailey, East Sussex. Own transport is preferred. This contract will run Monday to Friday with potential overtime.

Additional training and a full-time contract may be provided for the right candidates. Requirements include a valid CSCS card, Hod Carrier experience, and bringing a bucket & shovel.

Qualifications

• CSCS card required.
• Minimum 2 years Hod Carrier experience.
• Own transport and PPE encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Knocking up muck.
• Bumping brick and block.
• Carry bricks.
• May need to assist bricklayer gang.

Daily responsibilities will include:

• Knocking up muck
• Bumping brick and block
• Carry Bricks
• May need to assist bricklayer gang

Requirements for the role

• A valid CSCS card
• Experience Hod Carrier
• Bring your Bucket & Shovel
• References upon request
• The ability to perform physical manual labour
• You should have your own high vis jacket or vest and hard hat
• Own tools and transport required

Training/Progression opportunities:

• There may be opportunities to acquire additional qualifications with this role on Health and Safety, machinery and traffic management

Rates of Pay:

• Where a range of rate of pay is quoted the level of experience, qualifications & related training required is the minimum required in order to qualify for the lowest rate of pay quoted.
