Job summary

Collingham CofE Primary School in Collingham, West Yorkshire, is seeking a dedicated TA/HLTA to support teaching and learning in either Key Stage 1 or 2. The role involves HLTA responsibilities, covering PPA, and working within a supportive KS team to ensure high standards of pupil achievement.

The successful candidate will hold an HLTA qualification and have proven TA experience in a primary setting, with excellent communication and strong organisational skills to manage daily classroom

Qualifications

• HLTA qualification and proven primary TA experience.
• Ability to cover PPA and short-term absence.
• Strong communication with pupils, staff and parents.

Responsibilities

• Cover PPA time for teachers across year groups.
• Deliver support for teaching and learning in KS1 or KS2.
• Support inclusion and create a safe, positive learning environment.
• Work as part of the Key Stage team and report pupil progress.
