Job summary

Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming school in Chelmsford, starting September. The successful candidate will lead small groups and whole-class sessions when required, supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons and helping pupils achieve their potential.

The role is full-time with a daily rate of £100–£110, working 08:30am–15:45pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience desirable.
• Experience leading small group interventions.
• Strong behaviour management skills.
• Up-to-date safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Lead small groups and support whole-class learning.
• Deliver engaging lessons under teacher supervision.
• Support pupils to reach learning goals.
