Job summary

Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming and supportive school in Grays, starting September.

The successful candidate will be confident leading small groups and whole-class sessions, supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons and helping pupils achieve their full potential. Qualifications

• Previous experience working within a UK school setting.
• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience desirable.
• Experience leading small group interventions and supporting whole-class learning. Strong behaviour management skills.
• Up-to-date safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Lead small groups and deliver targeted interventions as directed by the teacher.
• Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and managing classroom activities.
• Help pupils achieve their full potential through effective instructional support.
