Job summary

Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming school in Harlow, starting September. The role involves leading small groups and supporting lessons to raise pupil attainment.

You will monitor progress and provide targeted feedback to pupils. You will work under the guidance of the class teacher, deliver focused interventions, and help create a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working within a UK school setting.
• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience desirable.
• Experience leading small group interventions and supporting whole-class learning.
• Strong behaviour management skills.
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable).
