Job summary

Alt Bridge School is seeking two HLTA to join our team on a permanent, part-time basis. You will work with and supervise pupils under the direction of the teacher, contribute to lesson delivery and assessment, and support in classroom management.

The role includes line management and appraisal of teaching assistants, with a focus on enabling learning for all students. You will support pupils with ASD and related needs in a positive, inclusive environment, contributing to a strong provision for

Qualifications

• Qualified HLTA with suitable qualifications.
• Experience supervising teaching assistants.
• Ability to contribute to teacher lesson plans, delivery and assessment.

Responsibilities

• Work with and supervise individuals and groups of children under the teacher's direction.
• Contribute to lesson planning, delivery and assessment to enable access to learning for all pupils.
• Line manage a team of teaching assistants and conduct appraisals.
• Support pupils with ASD and related needs; maintain calm, inclusive classroom management.
