Job summary

Manshead Church of England Academy is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work under the direction of the SENDCo, supporting students with SEND and helping them reach their full potential both academically and personally. The HLTA will provide high-quality intervention and classroom support, working collaboratively with teachers, support staff, parents/carers and external agencies.

The role may involve leading learning activities for individuals, small groups or entire classes

• Work under the direction of the SENDCo to support the educational, social, emotional and behavioural development of students with SEND.
• Provide high-quality intervention, classroom support and targeted learning programmes to help students achieve their full potential both academically and personally.
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, parents/carers and external agencies, and lead learning activities for individuals, small groups or whole classes where appropriate.

About the role
