Job summary

Bradford Council Resourced Provision Service is seeking skilled SEND HLTA's to join a dedicated team across the Bradford district. Qualifications

  • A level 3 qualification in a relevant subject.
  • Experience working with SEND children in a school setting.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with children, families and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, teach and deliver engaging learning for children with SEND within resourced provisions, 1:1 and small groups.
  • Support a team of LSAs to meet the needs of children with SEND.
  • Collaborate with mainstream staff to support inclusive education for children with SEND in mainstream schools.
  • Support and extend children's learning across primary or secondary age ranges, based on interview preference.
  • Create a nurturing, supportive learning environment where children can thrive.
  • Work with RP and mainstream teams to foster inclusive learning environments.
  • Support children's learning, development and independence to reach their full potential.
