Academic Appointments are seeking a KS1 and KS2 HLTA for a primary school in Sheffield.

Start Date: May 2025

Are you a HLTA looking for some supply teaching work? Are you passionate, committed, and enthusiastic about working with children? This is a great opportunity for ECT to gain more experience within Primary Schools.

Responsibilities:

• Leading lessons in the teacher’s absence
• Planning, preparing, and resourcing teaching and learning for pupils
• Supporting teacher-led learning
• 1:1 pupil support and group work

Requirements:

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant or Level 3/HLTA
• Cache level 3 Teaching Assistant / HLTA qualification or equivalent

What we need from you:

• To be currently available for full-time employment.
• 2x references.
• A valid Enhanced DBS Certificate or be willing to obtain one (we can assist with this part).
