A leading organization in mental health and recovery support is seeking a Senior Practitioner in Sheffield. This role involves managing recovery beds, providing support to service users, and overseeing staff, contributing to the community's well-being and recovery efforts. An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Practitioner to support Waythroughs service delivery at The Greens.
Based in Sheffield, a modern accommodation and drug and alcohol free support service that can support people to build their independence and move on. We help people to develop skills such as managing money and eating healthily to supporting to maintain recovery as well as helping with accommodation, one to one support and group programmes, support to improve mental and physical health, managing money, building confidence, maintaining recovery, education, training and employment.Feeling part of the community can be a large part of sustaining recovery.
We support people to do that and learn how to maintain a healthy lifestyle. The role is t o work as part of a team to provide support and enhanced housing management to service users of The Greens in order to help them live independently and progress towards sustained recovery, as well as helping us manage our Recovery Beds, this is a space where Likewise clients can detox in a recovery community.
Please note: Weekend working will be necessary to supervise the weekend staff, maybe 1 or 2 in a month, as well as working on a rota basis during the week, shifts being 2 weeks 9-5, 1 week 8-4 and 1 week 12-8, and a day off in the week will be taken to accommodate the weekend work, this is negotiable. support Saturday and Sunday 8am-4pm and will focus on meeting Service users’ needs and supporting daytime staff, it is an interactive role clients, ensuring our service users are kept are safe and to help them o rganise and create activities, all of which will support our resident’s recovery needs.

The salary advertised above demonstrates the full earning potential for this role, starting salaries will allow for pay progression within the pay band.
