The Post Holder Will

  • Work under the supervision and guidance of qualified staff for the duration of their apprenticeship.
  • Complete the CSR Level 4 Healthcare Science Associate qualification, which includes:
  • Healthcare Science Associate Level 4 Standard covering knowledge, skills, and behaviors.
  • Pearson/Edexcel BTEC L4 Diploma in Healthcare Science
  • Functional Skills (if required)

Have 1 day per week protected study time. The other 4 days will be used to gain skills and experience as a medical physics associate technologist in Radiology Physics.

Assist in providing radiation protection services, performing quality assurance tests, assisting with dosimetry and radioactive waste management, and supporting calibration and sample counting activities.

You will work within an organization that values its staff and community, offering professional development and policies supporting work-life balance.

The Department of Medical Physics provides services to the Trust and external clients, including consultancy for international pharmaceutical companies.
