Lancashire County Council is seeking a dedicated individual to support and develop physical development across Mayfield Specialist School. This temporary maternity cover role (01/01/2027–31/12/2027) requires delivering PE/MATP/Rebound therapy and working with a multidisciplinary team to meet pupil needs while tracking progress.

The post involves planning, supervision, and building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff, across all phases, in line with safeguarding policies.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children.
• Experience of working in a classroom environment.

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver PE/physical sessions across the school to support PPA cover.
• Collaborate with teachers, physio therapists and OTs to meet pupil needs and track progress.

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
