TeacherActive Limited is recruiting enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to support primary schools across Bradford and surrounding areas. You will assist KS1/KS2 pupils with engaging activities, provide classroom cover and contribute to a positive learning environment.

The role requires HLTA qualification or relevant HLTA-level experience, at least 6 months in a primary setting, an enhanced DBS (Update Service) and strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

Formación

• HLTA qualification or HLTA-level experience is required.
• Minimum of 6 months' experience in a primary school setting.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service is required.
• Confident supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Proactive, adaptable and capable of leading learning activities independently.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver pre-planned lessons and provide whole-class cover when needed.
• Support pupils across KS1/KS2 with learning and development.
• Lead small group interventions and provide targeted support.
• Support children with SEND.
• Create a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour and follow school policies.
• Collaborate with teachers, TAs and school staff.
• Adapt to different school settings and routines.
• Help pupils develop confidence, independence and progress.
