Qualifications

• HLTA status or significant experience in a Teaching Assistant role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence leading whole-class learning when required.
• A proactive, organised and flexible approach.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
• Passion for education and supporting young people.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons in the absence of the teacher.
• Support pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
• Work alongside teachers to deliver engaging learning activities.
• Help pupils with diverse learning, social, and emotional needs.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback.
• Create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Uphold safeguarding procedures.
