Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is seeking experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA) to work across a range of welcoming primary schools in Bradford. You will take a leading role in classrooms, support teaching and learning across year groups, and help pupils achieve their educational development.

This role offers flexible start dates, competitive daily rates via PAYE, and ongoing professional development with a dedicated consultant to support your placement.

Qualifications

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Level 6 qualification or relevant degree in Childhood Studies, Education, or a related field.
  • Strong classroom management and leadership skills.
  • Experience working across primary key stages.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead whole-class learning in the absence of the class teacher.
  • Deliver targeted intervention programmes across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
  • Support teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and assessment activities.
  • Provide guidance and support to Teaching Assistants and other support staff.
  • Assist in creating an engaging, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
  • Support pupils with varying learning needs to achieve their full potential.

The Role and School

We are recruiting for experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to work across a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools throughout Bradford

This is an excellent opportunity for confident and motivated individuals who can take a leading role in the classroom, support teaching and learning across different year groups, and make a positive impact on pupils' educational development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead whole-class learning in the absence of the class teacher
  • Deliver targeted intervention programmes across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
  • Support teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and assessment activities
  • Provide guidance and support to Teaching Assistants and other support staff

Requirements
  • HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
