Job summary

Doubletrees School seeks a skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support planning, delivery and assessment of high-quality learning experiences tailored to individual pupil needs. You will work closely with teachers and support staff to promote pupil progress, independence and inclusion, including during teacher absences.

You will also lead learning activities and support teams to ensure a positive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learners in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, delivery and assessment of lessons, adapting activities to meet pupil needs.
• Teach whole classes within an agreed framework during short-term absences of teachers.
• Promote pupils' progress, independence, confidence and inclusion.
• Monitor and assess pupils' responses to learning and provide feedback to teachers.
• Lead and deploy Teaching Assistants and volunteers when delivering whole-class learning.
