Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a confident HLTA for a great school in Dunstable, Bedfordshire. You will provide 1:1 support, lead small group interventions and step up to cover lessons with all planning and work provided.

You should be a strong role model with excellent classroom management and a caring, resilient approach to pupils. This is a full-time, term-time only role with competitive daily pay from £95+ per day, paid weekly via PAYE.

Qualifications

• Experience as an HLTA or TA with relevant background.
• Ability to support pupils of all secondary ages and manage behaviour.
• Confident, caring, reliable and adaptable.
• Willing to commit through to July 2026 with potential for permanent contract.

Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) with a passion for supporting children with additional needs? Perhaps you're a TA looking to step up or a recent Graduate with experience in tuition or working with young people?

About the role

• Work within a Co-ed, supportive Academy chain in Dunstable, Bedfordshire supporting students to achieve their best.
• Provide 1:1 support and lead small group interventions.
• Step up to cover lessons and lead by example - all planning and work will be provided.
• Be a strong role model with excellent classroom management skills.
• Full-time, term-time only (school hours).
• Pay from £95+ per day, paid weekly via PAYE.

Our client schools are keen to have supply staff who can commit through to July 2026, with the possibility of a permanent contract for the right candidate.
