Connex Education Partnership seeks a caring HLTA to work in a specialist SEN school supporting pupils with PMLD and complex needs. The role involves close collaboration with teachers and the multidisciplinary team to support learning, development and wellbeing.

You will provide personal care where required, lead activities, and help pupils access the curriculum while monitoring progress in a safe, nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with SEN and complex needs.
• Caring, patient and resilient individual.
• Confident supporting pupils with significant physical and learning needs.

Responsabilités

• Supporting pupils with PMLD, physical needs and complex learning difficulties.
• Leading and supporting learning activities, independently and with staff.
• Providing personal care as required (toileting, changing, intimate care).
• Supporting pupils’ communication, sensory and physical development.
• Contributing to assessment, recording and monitoring of pupil progress.
