Job summary

Remedy Education in Hounslow seeks an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN provision. You will support pupils aged 8-16 with ASD, ADHD and SEMH, delivering targeted interventions and assisting with classroom activities.

Successful candidates will have strong behaviour management, excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and SENCOs to implement EHCP targets and safeguarding procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience as HLTA or SEN support worker.
• Experience with ASD/ADHD/SEMH.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• Ability to lead interventions and support learning independently.
• Understanding of EHCPs and differentiated learning approaches.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality classroom and intervention support for students with SEN.
• Lead small group sessions and targeted interventions.
• Deliver planned learning activities and cover lessons when required.
• Support students with emotional regulation, communication and social skills.
• Work with teachers/SENCOs to implement EHCP targets and support plans.
