Job summary

Britannia Primary School and Nursery in Ipswich is seeking a well organised, flexible and committed HLTA to join our friendly team. Normal hours are 8.15am to 3.30pm, with 18.2 hours per week across 39 weeks per year.

You will report to the Vice Principal or Phase Leader and will deliver lessons to cover class teachers when required. A GCSE (or equivalent) grade C or above in English and maths is essential.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above (or equivalent).
• Experience in schools is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons to all pupils to cover class teachers when required.
• Report to Vice Principal or Phase Leader and support pupils in a friendly, structured environment.
