Orrell Lamberhead Green Academy in Wigan is seeking an experienced HLTA to support Key Stage 2. The role involves leading classes to cover PPA and leadership time, with a strong focus on behaviour management and a proactive, hands-on approach within a supportive team.

You will deliver engaging lessons, plan with teachers, assess pupil progress, and undertake administrative tasks such as record-keeping and preparing classroom materials to keep lessons running smoothly.

Formación

• Experienced HLTA with strong behaviour management.
• Willingness to lead lessons and work with a supportive team.
• Ability to deliver engaging lessons and support KS2 pupils.

Responsabilidades

• Lesson Delivery: Lead classes to cover for teachers during PPA or leadership time.
• Planning: Collaborate with teachers to design and prepare lesson plans and activities.
• Assessment and evaluation: Marking and feedback to monitor pupil progress.
• Administrative tasks: Record-keeping and preparing classroom materials.

We arelooking to appoint an experienced HLTA to work mainly in KS2 this involvesleading classes to cover for PPA and leadership time, person needs to havestrong behaviour management and a willingness to get stuck in and workalongside a supportive team, you will be able to deliver engaging lessons.

• Lesson Delivery: Teach wholeclasses, small groups, or individual pupils independently when teachersare absent or carrying out other duties.
• Planning: Collaboratewith teachers to design, develop, and prepare lesson plans, learningactivities, and classroom materials.
