Reeson Education is seeking a dedicated and adaptable HLTA to join a supportive primary school in the M19 area of Manchester. This HLTA role will begin on Monday 28th April and offers a full-time, long-term opportunity for someone ready to make a positive impact across multiple year groups.
As a HLTA , you'll work closely with class teachers to lead small group sessions, deliver planned lessons, and support children with a range of needs, including SEND. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HLTA to step into a role where your skills and initiative will be truly valued.
Key Responsibilities for the HLTA:
Support teaching and learning across year groups.
Deliver pre-planned lessons in the teacher's absence.
Assist with SEN interventions and behaviour support strategies.
Work closely with teaching staff to meet learning objectives.
Foster pupil independence, confidence, and progress.
The Ideal HLTA Will:
Have recent experience working as a HLTA or equivalent.
Be confident managing small groups and leading sessions independently.
Have experience supporting pupils with SEN such as ASD, ADHD, or SEMH.
Be proactive, nurturing, and enthusiastic about education.
Thrive in a collaborative team environment.
HLTA Requirements:
HLTA qualification or substantial experience in a similar role.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).
Right to work in the UK.
Recent references covering the past 2-3 years.
