Job summary

The Downs Primary School and Nursery in the United Kingdom is seeking an enthusiastic HLTA on a permanent, part-time basis to join our team. The role covers class-based support, class cover, interventions and catch-up booster lessons across KS1 and KS2.

Applicants should have an HLTA qualification or be willing to work towards one, with experience across year groups and the ability to work with pupils and staff in a supportive, well-organised environment.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, reliable, and well-organised person to join our team as a permanent HLTA.

• have an appropriate HLTA qualification or willing to work towards one
• have experiences/expertise which can enrich our pupils' learning
• have experience across a broad range of year groups in KS1 or KS2.

• have experience of teaching a whole class and small groups

32.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

39 working weeks per year (44.7 paid weeks per year)

Salary: Scale 5 point 10 - £22,110.01 pro rata per annum
