Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our flexible team across Witham and Braintree, offering long-term placements and day-to-day supply work.

You will deliver planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in the teacher's absence and support pupils both in groups and one-to-one, collaborating with teachers and senior leaders to uphold high standards of teaching. You’ll assist pupils with SEN and foster a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• HLTA qualification or equivalent required.
• Recent experience in a UK primary school setting.
• Ability to lead whole-class learning across year groups.
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
• Flexible and proactive approach to supporting schools and pupils.

Requirements

To be considered, you must:

• Hold a recognised HLTA qualification or equivalent relevant qualification.
• Have recent experience working within a UK primary school setting.
• Be confident leading whole-class learning across different year groups.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
• Have a flexible and proactive approach to supporting schools and pupils.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
