Pertemps Birmingham Commercial are recruiting an experienced HLOP or VNA Driver for a full-time role in Erdington, Birmingham. You will operate Very Narrow Aisle and High-Level Order Picker equipment, retrieve and relocate stock, and support inventory checks.

The role requires a valid licence, clean safety record, and the ability to work Monday to Friday with fixed shifts. On-site training and a friendly, supportive team environment are offered.

Pertemps Birmingham Commercial seeks an experienced HLOP or VNA Driver for a full-time role in Erdington. Pay ranges from £13.40 to £15.82 per hour, with shifts across Monday to Friday, either 10:00-18:30 or 14:00-21:30. The successful candidate must hold a valid licence and will operate Very Narrow Aisle equipment within racking systems, retrieving and relocating stock in tight spaces. Duties also include supporting inventory checks, replenishing stock, and following health and safety procedures to keep the working area secure. For the high-level order picker element, the driver will operate HLOP machinery to collect items from height. Safety awareness, accuracy, and reliability are essential for this warehouse position. What You'll Be Doing:

As a VNA Driver:

• MUST HAVE A VALID LICENCE.
• Safely operating Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) equipment within racking systems.
• Accurately retrieving and relocating stock within tight aisle spaces.
• Supporting inventory checks and replenishment of stock.
• Following all health and safety procedures to maintain a secure working area.

As a High-Level Order Picker:

• Operating HLOP equipment to pick stock from high storage locations.
• Ensuring accurate and efficient picking and packing of customer orders.
• Maintaining cleanliness and order in your working area.
• Complying with all warehouse safety protocols.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience using VNA or HLOP equipment (essential).
• In-date, accredited licence or certification for VNA and/or HLOP operation.
• A good eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
