A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic team playing pharmacy technician, with effective communication skills and attention to detail, to join the Infection and Immunity team at Barts Health NHS Trust.
You will be required to
Ensure that all HIV homecare prescriptions, order requests and invoices are processed in a timely and accurate manner
Liaise directly with homecare providers and service users to ensure an efficient service and supplies continue as appropriate
Counsel and educate patients on the use of their medicines
The post holder will be responsible for the day to day co-ordination of repeat prescription service for HIV patients, in conjunction with the HIV clinical support Technician and HIV Specialist Pharmacist.
The post holder will support the HIV clinical support HIV Technician to provide medicines management service to clinical areas.
The post holder will be expected to maintain patient confidentiality, as all patient information is strictly confidential and information may only be shared with minimum number of designated staff. .
To be responsible for dealing with Homecare queries and participating in dispensary activities as required.
